DR Series | DNS server is not working

Issue:

The client can ping the DNS server but the error "DNS server is not working!" appears when they click Test.

Resolution:

1. Verify the firewall is off on the NVR.
   • Setup > Network > Firewall.
2. Use an alternate DNS server to test.
   • Google Public DNS: 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4
