ConteraVMS: How to add IDIS cameras

Environment:

Contera version 3.2.7.293

DC-D4236HRX

Resolution:

1. Download and run the IDIS Discovery tool. The file is attached below.
2. Right click the camera and select "Remote Setup".
   
    
3. Enter a password and provide a recovery email then click "OK".
   
    
4. Sign in to the browser when prompted.
5. Click System > Data/Time. Adjust the time zone to your location and time sync the camera to whatever NTP server you're using. In this example, we're automatically syncing to "pool.ntp.org". Click Save and OK when prompted.
   
    
6. Click Video > Streaming. Change the primary and secondary streams to H.264. H.265 is not supported on ConteraVMS. Click Save and OK when prompted.
   
    
7. Click System > General. Verify ONVIF Protocol is "On" and that ONVIF Event Type is "Normal". Click Save and OK when prompted.
   
    
8. From Contera, click Setup > General Configuration > Cameras > Add Cameras > Discover cameras.
9. Click the camera and enter the username and password you configured in Step 3. Click "Add Selected Cameras".
10. Click on the camera then click "Update Image". Verify you have live and recorded video.
