DC-T4516WRX | How to factory default

Environment:

• DC-T4516WRX
• POE injector 

Issue:

• No email was set to reset the password.
• The password is unknown.
• No reset button next to the SD card

Procedure:

Note: Before proceeding with the process, confirm there is no reset button near the SD card.

1. Remove power from the camera.
2. Push the front window clip down with a small screwdriver 
   
3. Remove the (4) Phillip screws and place them in a secure location. 
   
4. Slide the camera out carefully.
5. Locate the Factory reset button.
   
6. Press and hold the reset button down.
7. Hold the reset button down and reconnect the power adapter.
8. Once the device turns back on, wait 5 seconds, and then release the reset button.
9. The device will go through the resetting process and reboot. All camera settings will be restored to their factory default after the reboot.
10. Carefully reassemble the camera once you confirm that the camera has gone back to factory default.
