Environment:
- DC-D1414WEG (v5.0.1.1701.1006.75.0.2.3.4 or higher)
- DC-T1435WG (v5.0.1.1701.1006.75.0.2.3.4 or higher)
Procedure:
- Log in to the camera.
Note: A create password will appear when you access the web UI
User: admin/ - Click System> Setting>Date and time. Set the date and time on the camera. It’s recommended to use NTP server if available.
- Click the Video/Audio>Audio>Audio File
- Click the "Upload Audio File" icon and then select your custom audio file if needed.
Note: Files must meet the following requirements: under 250kb, wav file, 16bit at 8000hz - Click the "IVS Smart Motion" menu and "Enable."
- Click on the "Status" to Enable
- Left-Click on the image to set the detection zone, then right-click over the last dot to end the zone.
Note: Make sure you adjust the ROI of the analytics. - Click the "Type" menu drop-down and select Object Detection for Person, Vehicle, or both.
- Adjust the Min and Max Values - The smaller the number, the likelihood of false positives, and the higher the Max, the likelihood of missed detection. Use FOV Calculation and DORI Standards for the best detection. I recommend using default settings and adjusting the values by standing at the furthest point and then the closest to the camera and adjusting the values as needed
- Alarm Interval – Keep in mind that the first detection will trigger within 10 seconds, and the sequence will detect within 40 seconds. Increasing the interval will add to this default setting. The level of sounds will rotate until the object has left the scene. Once the object has left the scene, the audio will cycle back to audio1.
- Activate Sound Alarms – Assigned sound alarms based on the designated number of sound names.
- Click the "Flashlight Alarm" menu to select the light needed trigger.
- Click "Select All" to set a 24/7 motion detection trigger.
Note: It is important to test the above settings first before configuring the schedule.Note: You can also left-click on the Blue to Timeline to adjust the time.
