IDIS Fisheye | How to de-warp within Genetec VMS

Environment:

• Genetec v5.13.3.0

• DC-Y8D11WRA v1.0.0

  Note: Registered Panomorph Lenses (RPL) number is 'c9vvt'

Procedure:

1. Launch Config Tool and navigate to Tasks. In the Administration panel, click on the 'Video' icon.

   

2. Navigate to Archiver and select the fisheye camera.

3. In the Hardware tab, set PTZ to 'OFF'. The option 'Lens type' will become visible only when PTZ is 'OFF'.

   

4. Set 'Lens type' to Panomorph and select appropriate Registered Panomorph Lenses (RPL) number.

5. Click the Calibrate button to calibrate the lens.

   

Genetec Security Desk:

1. Once fisheye de-warp is enabled, launch Security Desk.

2. Navigate to Tasks. In the Operation panel, click on the 'Monitoring' icon.

   

3. While viewing the fisheye live video in Monitoring, zoomed in to triggered 360° de-warp capability.
   User can now do 360° PTZ within the de-warp view. Navigation picture-in-picture is in the upper left.

   

4. Alternatively, click on the 'eye' icon in the right pane then select a de-warp mode from the list.
