DR-Series | How to create a Self-Diagnosis report

Environment:

• DR-1000
• DR-2000
• DR-6500
• DR-8500

Purpose:

When there is a problem with the NVR system, generate reports for troubleshooting.

Proceduce

1. Go to the "Setup" icon on the front panel console.
   
2. Click "System>Self-Diagnosis", then the Plus (+) to generate a report.
   
3. Click "Yes" to generate a report.
   
4. Click on the "View a Report" field
   
5. Click on the "Page" field to review the errors showing a Yellow triangle with an exclamation.
   
6. Click "Device Health Status" to review the error.
   
7. Camera 2 is in Yellow, showing video lost. 
   
8. Click on the "Page" field, then click on the "Camera Status."
   
9. Camera 2 shows "Bad"(0/3), 3 ping sent, 0 received. 
   
10. The next step will be to check the network connection and the power to camera 2.
