Environment:
- IDIS Camera
- CVS camera
- IDIS Discovery software
Issue:
When a new out-of-the-box camera is accessed through "Remote setup", it prompts to enter a username and a password. If no password was ever set, continue with the step below.
Procedure:
- Left-click the camera in the list
- Left-click the "Reset" Menu, then select from the drop-down menu "Registration Information Reset."
- Once prompted, " The operation is completed." Right-click the camera and select "Remote Setup."
- Enter the "New password", then Ok when done.
- Enter the User and password in the web browser to continue to log into the remote setup.
The IP Camera remote setup menu will display. Done.
