- For Accurate Temperature readings within + or - .3 Degrees camera needs to be installed in areas without strong airflow ensuring the detection field is away from objects that could produce airflow or high ambient temperature readings.
- Best reference distance is 13 feet i.e. between 10-16 feet from a persons face.
- Outdoor configurations require an enclosed environment or tent to ensure accuracy.
- The Black Body Unit needs to be installed where the camera can see it best.
- The recommended installation height is 6.5-7.5 feet or 2-2.3 Meters at an Angle that does not exceed 25 degrees from the horizontal line to the face of the individual.
- Installing the camera straight relative to a human face will yield the best results.
