The information contained hereafter is for IT administrators. They need to understand the hardware platform requirements so they can devise a deployment strategy specific to their needs.
The CMS platform supports three deployment methods and a maximum of 10 concurrent users.
- One-Click Setup: All CMS platform components are installed on the same computer.
- This installation process does not require any configuration. The CMS platform is quickly installed on a single machine by default on the system drive "C:\Program Files (x86)\CMS". After installation, the server component and client program are automatically started.
- Custom:
- Mini: This method is identical to the One-Click Setup mentioned above.
- Middle: The CMS server components are installed on one server (left image) and the client software is installed on the user's computer (right image).
- Large: Each individual CMS component is installed on different servers. The client software is installed on the user's computer (not displayed).
- Mini: This method is identical to the One-Click Setup mentioned above.
- After the CMS server is installed, you need to use the server management tool to configure the IP of the central management server, the media distribution server, and the intelligent analysis server, which are all managed by the central management server. The CMS management tool is automatically displayed in the system tray after the system is installed. After displaying the main interface, select the corresponding service and click “Configure”.
- Provide the IP address of the server where each service is installed and click Apply.
- Launch the CMS icon on the desktop and use the default username and password of "admin". Provide the CMS server IP address then click Login.
- For security reasons, it is recommended to change your password.
