Costar Management System (CMS): How to set up email notifications

Environment:

CMS v1.4.3.0.8.3.0_20200424 (or higher). Please Contact Technical Support if you do not have this version.

Issue:

The system administrator needs to set up email notifications.

Resolution:

1. Launch CMS and login with administrative credentials.
2. From the Main Menu click Alarm Mail.
   
   
   
   
3. On the Alarm Mail tab click the + button.
   
   
   
   
4. Provide the below information then click Mail Test.
   • SMTP server address
   • Username
   • Password
   • Sender
   • Recipient
     
     
     
     
5. Click Apply when finished.
