Issue:
The integrator is setting up a thermographic camera for the first time. They need to set up the bare minimum in order for it to trigger in CMS.

Resolution:
- Click the Configuration tab > Device Info > Name the camera then click the green checkmark to save your setting.
- Click OK.
- Click Stream > Base Stream > Channel 1 or 2.
- By default the Video Encode Type is H.265. Not all VMS's support this yet so if yours does not, change it to H.264 then click Apply.

- Repeat Step 3 for the other Channel.
- Click Device > Local Network.
- Your network administrator will specify whether or not to use DHCP or Static.

- Click Device > Date and Time.
- Select the appropriate time zone then click the green checkmark to save your settings.
- If an NTP server is present you can provide it's IP address here.
- Click Temperature Measurement > Parameter Configure > Temperature Parameters.
- Draw a detection zone by left-clicking on the screen. Once the zone is complete, right-click to navigate off the window.
- Set the Temperature Units to either Fahrenheit or Celcius.
- Set the Length Units to Feet or Metric.
- Set the Mount Distance to the distance between the camera and the Blackbody reference unit.
- Click Apply.
- Click Temperature Measurement > Thermal Mapping.
- Use the controls under the images (zoom/focus) to adjust both scenes until they are similar.
- Select ID 1.
- Set the Scene Depth to the distance between the camera and the Blackbody reference unit.
- Select Mapping Point One and mark the same position in both images.
- Select Mapping Point Two and mark the same position in both images.
- Select Mapping Point Three and mark the same position in both images.
- Click Apply.
- Click Temperature Measurement > Bad Point Check.
- Set a reference point where the image is hottest/coolest or if there is something like an exhaust fan or vent in the scene.
- Click Apply.
- Click Temperature Measurement >Thermal Calibration.
- Click Enable.
- Click Display Area Info (optional)
- Check Target Temperature setting for 104 for Farhenheit or 40 when using Celcius.
- Set the Distance between the camera and the Blackbody reference unit.
- Draw a square around the Blackbody reference unit.
- Click Apply.
