3430HD Quick Start Guide

Prerequisite:

1. CostarHD 3432-3000 (new unit)
2. PoE injector
3. A PC set to the below:
   • IP Address: 192.168.2.100
   • Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
   • Gateway: 192.168.2.1
4. Two Ethernet cables

Resolution:

1. Once physical connections have been made, open Internet Explorer and enter 192.168.2.150 in the address bar.
2. Click Download when the ActiveX prompt appears.
3. Click Save.
   
   
   
   
4. Close Internet Explorer.
5. Go to your downloads directory and run Setup.exe.
6. Click Yes if prompted by User Account Control.
7. Click Finish when the installer completes.
8. Relaunch Internet Explorer.
9. Click Allow.
   
   
   
   
10. Login using [Username: admin Password: admin].

To view Live video:

1. Click Live View.
2. Click the Play button on the bottom left.

To change the IP address to Static/DHCP:

1. Click Setup > Ethernet > Select Static or DHCP > Apply your new TCP/IP information > Click Save.
   
   
   
   
2. Click OK when prompted. The camera services will restart.
   
   
   
   
3. If the camera was set to DHCP, use Costar Utility to discover the camera at its new IP Address.
4. If the camera was set statically, open a new webpage to the IP address specified.

To set up DST:

1. Click Setup > Time > DST > Select On or Off > Click Save.
   
   

To set up Time:

1. Click Setup > Time > Time > Select your Sync Mode, Time zone, and/or click Sync with Computer Time > Click Save.
   
   

To change the Admin account password:

1. Click Setup > User > Highlight the admin account > Click Edit.
   
   
   
   
2. Type in a new password twice then click OK.
   
   
   
   
3. Click OK.
   
   
   
   
4. Log in with the new password.
