RISE Series Password Reset

Issue:
An integrator does not know the password to the camera.

Environment:

• Rise 1 (Core package v5.3.65 | Rise Package v5.3.205 or higher)
• Rise 2
• Rise 3

Resolution:

Note: The procedure must be completed in full within 24 hours.

1. Launch a web browser and navigate to the IP address of the camera.
2. Click Forgot Password then Copy Key.
   
   
   
   
3. Send an email to support@cohuhd.com with the subject title: Password Reset and in the body of the email paste the token from Step 2.
4. Support will reply with an authentication key. Paste this into the bottom box and click Reset Camera Password. All accounts except the default admin one will be deleted.
   
   
   
   
5. The camera will reboot. The default username is admin.
6. Enter the new admin password and click Save New User.
