Retrieve DUMP files from Costar X, XP, SP and E series DVR's

Issue:

We need to retrieve the DUMP files from a recorder to send to the Engineers for analysis. The file will be dumped to the Flash Drive, formatted FAT32, and the file folder will have today's date on it.

Resolution:

Enter key command at the recorder to get the dump file.

Pre-Requisite: Tech onsite with a USB thumb drive formatted to FAT32.

1. Insert Flash Drive formatted to FAT32

2. Go to Log in with admin as a user (Note: if the log in box will not stay up go to USER in the MENU and select 1 min for AUTO LOG OUT. Wait one minute then try again.

3. Press the cam buttons #'s 342441 then Left arrow then Right arrow.

4. Files should dump to the Flash Drive.
