XDI: CDI2512xxxx camera wall mounted

Issue:

You need to mount a CDI2512xxxx camera to a wall to get a good view of the location along the wall.  Once mounted you realize the Gold ribbon cable can only spin around so far and you can not get a good point of view.  This is a common install for Brookshires.  

Resolution: 

Adjust the camera to get a good image but upside down.  Go back to the NVR and  You now "flip" the image horizontally and vertically within the Costar NVR camera menu.  If using the camera in an ONVIF application you will have to flip the image inside the camera menu itself.  Below is an image showing where to access the CDI2512xxxx camera menu from the recorder.  

At the recorder, navigate to Setup>Camera>Advanced Setup. Click on the Video box that corresponds with the camera number that you are trying to "flip".

By default, the window opens to the Image Sensor. Scroll to the bottom of this menu and click on the boxes to Mirror: Horizontal and Vertical. Click Apply to see the changes in the view window.
