Issue:
You need to make a change to a setting on the recorder but you are not at the site it is located physically. Through StarNet you can access the recorders SETUP Menu via Remote Setup. Remote Setup allows you to change settings as if you were in front of the unit with a monitor and a mouse. Be aware that not all the settings are available through Remote Setup. Some settings are missing or grayed out due to Security reasons.
Pre-Requisite:
A PC with the Starnet software loaded and a recorder registered to the software.
Solution:
On the StarNet main GUI to the left side are the listings of the remote sites. Highlight the site you wish to connect to and right-click to get the Remote Setup box, click on the box that says Remote Setup, see below.
You will be presented with the Setup menu like the below image shows.
From here you should be able to configure the recorder. Be mindful of the changes made here. This will make changes to the recorder.
