Determine the FW version of your recorder with StarNet

Issue: 

You need to find out what the FW version is on your recorder. 

Pre-Requisite:

A PC with the Starnet application loaded and a recorder registered.

Solution:

With StarNet VMS SW you can see the version using a Status tab.  To connect your recorder to a Status tab, drag the remote site to the Status tab page and let go anywhere on the page.  The recorder will be connected to the Status tab and the word Connected will appear. The FW will be displayed at the top right of the Status page.  

To disconnect from the Status tab navigate the mouse to the Plug symbol at the bottom left of the page.  Click it and you will be asked if you wish to disconnect, click Yes.  See below.
