Issue:
You have loaded up the StarNet Remote Video Management Software and you notice a sound event happens every so often or depending on the traffic at that location, it may be constant. This can be very annoying if you are not wanting to hear those beeps. Here is where you go to turn those Instant Event beeps off.
Solution:
You can access the setup items in Starnet to quieten these beeps. You have two choices here as you can leave the Instant Events streaming back to StarNet if you desire and only silence the beeps or remove the Instant Events altogether. If you remove/uncheck Instant Events this will prevent the events from populating the lower left side of your StarNet GUI. But just removing them does not silence the beeps, to do that you must uncheck the sounds associated with an event. See the images below to silence the beeps.
Go here as the next image shows to silence the beeps.
You will be presented with the below image, uncheck Instant Events and uncheck the Event Sounds that you do not wish to hear from.
Once unchecked click Apply and OK. The Instant events will not show anymore saving some network space and the beeps will be silenced.
