How to Add a Contera Camera to Central Point

Issue:

Adding a camera to the Central Point recorder.  

Resolution:

To add a camera to the Central Point Recorder can be quick if the camera credentials are admin: admin.  It is as simple as plugging the camera directly to the back of the recorder and it should auto-populate.  

If the credentials of the camera are something other than admin: admin, please use the following steps below. 

1. Right-Click in any box and select Camera Registration. (If you do not see this option, you will need to log in.)

2. The recorder should find the camera automatically. Click on the Contera camera under the Model column.

3. Enter the username under ID and camera password in the Password section on the right-hand side and click Check.

4. Go to the Contera Camera in the table and click on the Assign column and assign the camera to a Channel and click Apply

5. Click the "x" at the top right. The camera should be displaying in multi-screen and full-screen views.
