How to test SMTP on Central point software?

Solution:

There is no actual button to test SMTP through the Central Point software. 

Instead, SMTP was tested either by:

• Configuring a camera to use motion alerts that send an email. If this doesn't work, there is something wrong with the network or the configuration.
• The other option would be to set up and use a free SMTP service like Yahoo and test this locally at the recorder.
