Solution:

1. Enter Search Mode.
   
   
   
2. Connect a USB flash drive to the recorder. The device must be formatted as FAT16 or FAT32.
   
   
3. Initiate a clip-copy function by either pressing the backup button on your remote or selecting the clip-copy setting from the right-click menu. 
   
   
4. Fill out the dialog box that pops up to determine the data source and clip length. 
   
   
5. Hit the start button and monitor until completion. Your clip is now backed up for your review.
