Starnet Mobile +: Add a Site

Starnet Mobile + is the newest application from Costar Video Systems.  Starnet Mobile + allows you to bring in Starnet compatible recorder and Starnet Pro devices into one phone application.  The most common use of the Starnet Mobile + will be with the compatible recorder.  Here are instructions on how to add a recorder to the Starnet Mobile + phone application.

Pre-Requisite:

• A Starnet Compatible device connected to the network. 
• A Smart Phone.
• If trying to connect to the recorder remotely, ports are forwarded in the router.

Steps to add recorder:

1. On the smartphone open the Play Store/App Store. 
2. Search for Starnet Mobile +, download, and install.
3. Open the Starnet Mobile + Application.
   
4. Tap the "+" at the bottom right corner.
   
5. Select the method of registering the recorder to the application.
    
   1. QR Code- If you are the recorder you can scan the QR code in the Network Setting (Not available on all models of recorders).
   2. IP Address- Enter the IP address of the recorder and click next
      
   3. FEN- Enter the FEN Name of the recorder and click next.  This is Costar Video Systems Dynamic DNS Service.  This has to be set up in the recorder first.
6. Enter the user name and password of the recorder and click next.
   
7. Give the recorder a name and tap Save.
