Issue:
- Installed the Starnet Pro before I had my key.
- Added more devices to the Starnet Pro Key
- Upgraded from the Demo license
- The Starnet Pro Server is not connected to the Internet
Requirements:
- A way to get a file off of the Starnet Pro Server. Examples: USB Thumb Drive.
- Email Account to email the file to Costar Support.
Resolution.
- Click the Start button and locate the Costar Starnet Pro folder. Expand the Costar Starnet Pro folder and select License Tool.
- Click Authenticate at the bottom right of the window.
- Select OFFLINE and click Next.
- Click Save… Choose a location to save the .ixp file and click save. Leave the License Tool open We will be emailing a file back.
- Please send the .ixp file to support@costarvideo.com.
- Download the .ixl file from Costar Support.
- Click Load on the License Tool.
- Select the .ixl file Costar Support sent you and then click Open.
- Registration is complete: Click main at the bottom right and the Starnet Pro will restart. Click Close to exit the License Tool.
