FAQ: USPS CVI2MV2 Setup

Issue:

Trying to display cameras that are registered to the recorder onto the CVI2MV2.

Pre-requisite:

• Laptop 
• Access to the Recorder
• Credentials to the Recorder
• Matrix Client Software 

Solution:

In order to display the cameras on the CVI2MV2, the recorder needs to have the RTSP turned.  Once that is turned on the cameras can be pulled into the CVI2MV2.

RTSP URL for the Recorder: rtsp://user:pass@ipaddress:554/trackID=”Camera channel on recorder”&streamID=”the stream you want to pull". 

NOTE: Only 10 streams can be used from the recorder.
