Configuring the maximum number of A-Cut detections
Supported in Object Engine and Face Engine. When registering a camera to the NVR, the A-Cut Generation Level is automatically set to Very Low by default. The A-Cut Generation level adjusts the maximum number of Attributes processed based on the camera-supported capacity. A-Cut Generation Levels are
• Very Low: 13%
• Low: 35%
• Medium: 58%
• High: 80%
• Very High: 100%
In NVR Remote Setup, navigate to Camera -> Advanced Setup then click on the camera’s VA Engine column to bring up the VA Engine setup page as below. Click on the A-Cut Generation Level drop-down, then select the desired setting. -
Increased the maximum VA throughput.
The maximum supported VA engine throughput has been expanded to the registered camera channel capacity, depending on the NVR model series.
• VA MAX 64: DR-8564
• VA MAX 32: DR-8532 / DR-8532D / DR-6532P
• VA MAX 16: DR-8516 / DR-6516
• VA MAX 8: DR-6508
-VA throughput no longer increases when Abandoned/Removed Object Detection Engine or Fall Detection Engine is enabled on Edge AI Plus cameras.
