How do I factory reset the 25 Series XDI?

Required Tool:

Paper Clip or straight tip tool.  

Resolution:

1. Power the recorder down by removing the power plug. 
2. Locate the Reset Button Per XDI series 
   Next to the Audio Out:
   
   
   Between HDMI 1 and HDMI2:
   
3. Insert the straightened paper clip or straight tip tool into the Reset Button. You should feel the button engage as the button is depressed. 
4. While holding the Reset Button, turn on the power to the unit.  
5. Within 3-5 seconds after powering the recorder you will hear a beep.
6. Release (disengage) the reset button immediately after hearing the first beep. 
   ***If you fail to release the reset button before the 2 beeps at approximately the 7-second mark after boot up, the recorder will not reset.  The reset button needs to be disengaged after the single beep and before the double beep.
