Issue:
Needing to pull the dump file of the NVR but not onsite.
Pre-requisite:
- PC with Starnet Loaded
- 20 or 25 series XDI already registered to the Starnet Software with admin rights
Solution:
- Open the Starnet software and log in.
- Click System>New Tab and select Self-Diagnosis.
- Drag the recorder from the left side and drop it into the Self-Diagnosis tab.
- Locate Troubleshooting Reports and click the "+".
- It will generate a file.
- Once the file is done generating select the file and click the download icon .
- Select where to save the files and then click Save.
- Email both the .dmp and the .md5 file to support@costarvideo.com. If the file is too big, please load the files to a dropbox or another file sharing service.
