Warning: 

Before any software update, perform a backup.
Software updates are only available with a current web services subscription.

Issue:

The ConteraVMS is on an older software revision.

Resolution:

Option 1: From the NVR.

1. Login to the ConteraVMS.
2. Click Setup > General Configuration > System Settings > Software Update > Check for Update > Install.
   
   
   
   
3. The recorder will restart when the update is complete.

Option 2: From ConteraWS.

1. Log in at https://www.arecontvision-ws.com/login#
2. Click Recorder Management > Recorders.
3. Click Install to update the recorders remotely.
   
   Note: Ensure you have a backup before performing any update.
